The focus is mainly on musical theater, singing & dancing in group musical numbers while learning acting skills through character expression in song and dance.

This group performs throughout the year

AGES 5-8 SATURDAYS 10:30-11:30

AGES 9-14 THURSDAYS 6:00-7:30

ages 8-12 TUESDAYS 6:30-7:30

WHAT SETS US APART WITH OUR KIDS THEATER??

All our Kids classes, camps and workshops are limited to 15-20 kids per class.

This allows us to give each child special attention to grow as a performer and build their self confidence. It's not about the show; it's about the KIDS!

EVERYONE GETS A ROLE

When they're younger, we introduce them to being in a play. Kids learn theater terminology, stage directions and how to memorize lines in a script. We get them comfortable being in front of people and just being creative. Along with rehearsing for the performance, the kids play theater games and are encouraged to use their imaginations.

With our older kids, they delve more into the performance aspect, staying in character, cues, stage directions and blocking

Not only do kids learn about theater and acting, but they gain confidence. It really helps with focusing skills. It helps them to learn to be more observant of people as we study what people do with faces and bodies and voices. It developes creative thought processes and problem solving.

We help them develope creativity and imagination and to get over some inhibitions.

All you need is a spark of curiosity and we will foster any campers inner Broadway enthusiasm into a lifelong passion. Have fun learning a song and dance to this fun musical. Focus is on technique, style and performance.

Camp Policies:

Camps must have a minimum of 5 to make. Purple Box reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment. If a camp is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be given.
